Course 1 – Scalp and Hair Loss Solutions
Our Tricho Treatments course caters to a wide range of hair professionals and hair loss specialists, including trichologists, barbers, hairdressers, alternative hair stylists, and scalp micropigmentation technicians. We focus on promoting a healthy scalp = healthy hair growth.
Course Details:
Assessing and understanding hair loss, treating scalp conditions, managing patient expectations, developing customised treatment protocols (both in clinic and at home) to help to promote healthy hair growth. We also cover needle and product selection, contraindications, limitations and treatment planning.
Highlights of this training programme include:
• Holistic Approach: We prioritise a healthy scalp = healthy hair philosophy, starting with our FTG scalp spa treatment (NOURISH) to cleanse and boost scalp circulation, followed by our hair serum infusion (REVIVE) for optimal hair growth.
• Unique Protocols: Learn scalp skin rejuvenating treatments and stimulating protocols for various scalp conditions and hair loss patterns.
• Client-Centred Care: Understand individual client needs and to tailor treatments accordingly, both in clinic and at home, to provide compassionate care and develop custom treatment plans.
Our Hair Loss Specialities course offers a unique insight into addressing diverse scalp / hair loss conditions and concerns.
This course is a specialist course for practitioners who carry out SMP or for hair loss professionals who offer non-invasive needling treatments. We do not teach SMP on this course. Please refer to our 2 day SMP course for full information.
Not every man with hair loss wants to shave his head and have SMP to cover scarring. We have a unique skin camouflage technique to soften and minimise surgical and trauma scalp scars ; FUE/FUT, face and brow lift scarring, as either stand-alone procedures or prior to SMP / pigmentation. We teach a flesh coloured camouflage technique and scalp hydration with serums for burnt / dry scalps.
With advances in hair loss serum infusion treatments for 'healthy hair = health scalp' we have a 'mark and remove' technique to record hair loss borders. We teach unit dot marking and offer online spot/dot minimisation (also for blow-outs).
PLUS - We debate long lasting lasting inks -v- short lasting pigments, and their benefits and the negatives.

Understanding scars in association with hair loss surgical interventions, skin colour camouflage techniques, treatment planning, contraindications, short vs long-lasting pigment choice, and addressing 'blow outs' from SMP.

• Skin Tone Scar Camouflage: Learn techniques to blend cosmetic surgical scarring seamlessly into the surrounding skin tone for a natural appearance including FUE and FUT.
• Scalp Hydration for Burns: Offer holistic scalp hydration treatments tailored for burns patients to improve scalp health and well-being.
• Scalp Marking: Master specialist approaches to marking hairline perimeters to create natural-looking results.
• Dot Remove Techniques: Acquire skills in 'Dot Remove' through salt and saline techniques to address single 'blow-outs' or 'heavy' healed impressions.
• Pigment Selection Debate: Navigate the theoretical debate on pigment types and explore innovative combination protocols for optimal results.
