6 simple and easy skincare tips from Skin Experts

May 05, 2021

These aren't your run-of-the-mill skin-care tricks. Our skincare experts share six simple and easy tricks that they have learnt and recommended throughout their careers. These are great tips you can use for yourself and to share with your clients.

Vitamin C is your friend

Use brighteners (we like vitamin C) within six months of seeing a dark spot. Melanin goes deeper into skin over time, so it’s harder to reach. Lemons support your liver and kidneys, and there’s a clear connection between healthy organs and healthy skin. Vitamin C-rich foods such as oranges may help prevent wrinkles too.

Exercise

Another reason to take that morning run. A good workout doesn’t just burn calories, it also helps deliver oxygen and nutrients to the skin. Hate going to the gym? Start a dance party, get your blood flowing and have a blast doing it. Your skin will thank you!

Exfoliate

If your complexion is looking a little dull, chances are it needs a little scrub-down. Use a face scrub with round beads to slough off dead skin cells, and glowing skin will emerge underneath. Try to keep exfoliation to only twice a week to avoid irritation.

Mist yourself

Mists are all the rage right now in the beauty world, and with good reason. They feel great on your skin, and they keep it moisturised without messing up your makeup! Keep a bottle in your bag to refresh your skin throughout the day.

Take your time when applying products

When layering, let each product absorb for two or three minutes so it’s not counteracted or diluted by the next one you put on.

Apply SPF and sunscreen – everywhere

Use a SPF 30 or higher daily, even on cloudy days as it protects you from ultraviolet B radiation (UVB). SPF 50 like our Cell Biologique SPF blocks about 98% of UV rays. When the sun is out - don’t forget sunscreen on your ears, hairline, neck, hands, and chest. Dermatologists can look at your décolleté to see how old you are. The sun is responsible for fine lines. Ninety percent of fine lines are caused by sun exposure.

For professional use, our Cell Biologique skincare range focuses on the molecular drivers of skin ageing, pigmentation, acne, sun damage and whatever problem the skin can experience. The range was panelled by plastic surgeons, dermatologists, cosmetic scientists and biologists to achieve the ultimate goal of molecular beauty. As well as using in your professional treatments, we also offer home skincare Cell Biologique products and kits, which you can sell to your clients.
